Samantha and Steve’s Aldie Mansion Wedding

In September, I was the Wedding DJ for the wedding reception of Samantha and Steve, held at Aldie Mansion in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Cutting Edge Entertainment is grateful to have such a great relationship with the staff of the Aldie Mansion, and we enjoy working there, especially getting the opportunity to rock so many awesome weddings. I was also excited to work with our good friends from Littlewing Studio Photography. I have known Scott now for a couple of years now, and he really is a true professional, and, together with his wife Kristi, they do a fantastic job capturing awesome images from the wedding reception (as you can see here).

I love my job, and there is nothing better to be mixing it up back to back and beat to beat. However I feel the most important part of my job is prior to the wedding, because I do a lot more than just play music. I feel to be a great Wedding DJ it is essential that I make my clients feel comfortable and confident with me before the big day. The best way for this to happen, is by simply giving the bride and groom a chance to get to know me. By spending hours between meetings, phone conversations, and on occasions video conferences, my clients get a clear picture of exactly what they are getting at their wedding… This way on the wedding day the bride and groom can just relax, eat, dance, and be with their guests, rather than being worried if I am going to do a good job.

This was an awesome wedding, and I had so much fun being a part of it. Not only did we provide music, but we also did uplighting around the room. It really added to the already beautiful décor and ambiance of Aldie Mansion. A few weeks after the wedding Samantha wrote this very nice testimonial on Wedding Wire:

We found Cutting Edge Entertainment and after reading other reviews, requested Richie for our September wedding. We were sold after meeting with him once and became so excited after sitting down with him to review the plan for the day. He had great suggestions, worked eagerly with the songs and traditions we proposed, and was able to fill in the gaps when needed. The day of, from the ceremony to the dancing, the music was spot on! Richie kept the crowd energized, interacted well with our guests, and provided great introductions.
