The Cairnwood Estate Wedding of Erin and Scott

Over the course of my long career as a Wedding DJ and event entertainer, I have found myself performing in numerous and vastly different types of spaces, from standard hotel ballrooms to tents constructed in a client’s backyard. Yet one venue that is unorthodox, but always creates the perfect atmosphere is Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, PA. Unorthodox in the sense that it isn’t your typical ‘banquet hall’, but instead more like a castle out of a fairy tale. This time the Cairnwood Estate was hosting newlyweds Erin and Scott for their perfect wedding day.

Erin & Scott designed a beautiful day that was only made better by the amazing weather. Using the mansion to their advantage the guests enjoyed the formal moments and their dinner under the tent located on the terrace, while being able to tour the house during cocktail hour and dancing.

First dance

Every moment had an energy that is indescribable. The music choices – from Bruce Springsteen to Pitbull and everything in-between – kept the crowd going all night long. As you can see in the photos, the smiles were infectious and endured throughout the party. Even unexpected moments created moments that every guest will remember; most notably, when the crowd requests and “belted-out” “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” by Celine Dion. The moments that are not planned are usually the most memorable ones.

Thank you, Caroline Logan for allowing us to feature these amazing images on our blog.  Also a big thanks to the staff of Sage Catering whose precision and timing always help make the reception flow seamlessly.  And as always… to the staff at Cairnwood Estate for another smooth and fun event.

Best of love and happiness to Erin and Scott on your journey together as husband and wife!
