Neha and Justin’s Cairnwood Wedding

On June 15th of 2013 I had the great honor of being the requested DJ and MC for the wedding reception of Neha and Justin, held at the beautiful Cairnwood Mansion in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. Over the years, Cutting Edge Entertainment has been called upon to entertain at celebrations for people of all different cultures and backgrounds, and over the years we have become familiar with all sorts of cultural and ethnic traditions. Neha and Justin had a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. We provided music and sound for those called upon to speak at the over one hour-long ceremony, using multiple hand-held microphones for the ceremony’s participants. As always, I am honored to take part in the traditions and ceremonies of different cultures, as it keeps my job interesting and enlightening. Neha and Justin were a really fun couple to work with, and we had a blast at our wrap up meeting a couple weeks prior to the wedding. The meeting we had lasted about two hours and I believe it was good for Neha and Justin to get to know me better and gain confidence in my ability to rock out their wedding. For me, getting to know them was more like making new friends than working with a client, and as it turned out we had so much in common.

Their wedding was one of the highlights of my month, and by the pictures featured here you can tell this was one great crowd. Of course when I DJ a wedding I consider it a team effort, and the wedding can not be successful unless all of the wedding professionals work in sync. The caterer for the wedding was Robert Fair Caterers, and Jackie from Love Shack Photography did an awesome job capturing the images of the event. Jackie is a superstar photographer that does great work. Finally, a successful wedding can’t be complete without the bride and groom, and Neha and Justin were perfect.

A few weeks after the wedding the bride and groom posted the following testimonial online:

We were so lucky to have found Richie as our DJ. We had an Italian and Indian fusion wedding, which required music from both sides. We were very concerned that this would be difficult to pull off. However, Richie worked very hard to accommodate all of our needs, and it showed. He did an amazing job and our wedding night was perfect!! The dance floor was packed the entire night (including people we never expected to see dancing). When the night came to an end, everyone began chanting for him to continue playing songs! To this day, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. Obviously, we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!
