A Great Wedding DJ (Commercial)

Back in August of 2012, we decided to try our luck with some TV advertising.  It was a unique opportunity to buy some airtime with Comcast on the program “Say Yes To The Dress”.  We tapped our former employee Justin Guarini to be our on-air face, and as it happens we also provided the Wedding DJ (DJ Adam Brand) for Justin and Reina Guarini’s wedding… so it was both a commercial and a real testimonial.  Justin was happy to oblige, and we even created a blog post about the making of the commercial titled – of all things – Making a Wedding DJ Commercial.

Needless to say, it had mixed results.  A few clients mentioned seeing it, and a few folks even called inquiring about our Wedding DJ services because they saw it, but mostly, it was friends and family (my Mom texted me every week she saw it air) who were excited to see us on television.  In the end, it was a fun experience, but we realized we hadn’t actually shown in to our internet audience, so that’s just what we’re doing here.

Of course, you never know if we might decide one day to use it on television again, but for now, the short thirty second Wedding DJ commercial for Cutting Edge Entertainment will have a home on our website and blog.  We like it a lot, and it’s something we hadn’t tried before so it was a fun learning experience.  We hope you like it too.
