The Talamore Wedding of Kristina and Marlio
On October 1, 2010, I had the honor of being the MC and DJ at the Talamore at Oak Terrace for the wedding of Marlio to Kristina. This was a couple that was not only looking forward to getting married, but they may have been even more excited about the PARTY that followed.
It may seem “bigheaded” to place a basic work like “party” in CAPITAL letters, but this event was all about the PARTY. From the enthusiastic cocktail hour to the rambunctious finale, this was a night I will never forget. It was apparent from the time I met Kristina and Marlio at the office that they were ready to sweat the night away. The obvious hint came in the form of their song requests; which include many Raggaeton-infused dance floor jams by Sean Paul and Pitbull.
The mood was set early when the entire bridal party danced their way down the staircase and into the ballroom for our Grand Introductions; Kristina and Marlio’s parents entered to the classic track simply titled “The Sound of Philadelphia (T.S.O.P.)”, while the rest of the party rocked down the steps to “Krazy” by Pitbull. Our bride and groom entered to the most appropriate song, “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz – this couple was ready to “rock this club, go all night, rock this club, like it’s dynamite”! They did not disappoint.
After the conclusion of dinner our Bride shared a lovely dance with her father to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, while Marlio did the same with his mother to “The Times of Your Life” by Paul Anka. Dancing was interspersed between meals and formalities throughout the evening; this allowed for a steady flow of fun, as well as an equal amount of time for event necessities. DJ Steve Foltz was in complete control as the crowd followed every cut he made. The dance floor was packed all night for classic hits by Whitney Houston (“I Wanna Dance with Somebody”) and Lionel Richie (“All Night Long”). Many laughs ensued when Marlio made the center of the floor his for the “Chicken Dance”.
Kristina and Marlio… thank you for allowing me to place the Cutting Edge stamp on your event. It’s been a pleasure to work with you and your families as we prepared and successfully executed a wedding for the ages.
Congratulations! You really are Dynamite together!

I am not one to thank someone for doing their job. I believe that the best should be expected, and professionalism should be at all times. However; I could never have expected the amazing experience my husband and I experienced on our wedding day. From the late entrance into my reception (after my limo breaking down) I was greeted with a smile and an “I got it covered” by Brian. As we started our introductions, I could not only hear the music, but the excitement and enthusiasm in Brian’s voice. I knew then it was going to be a great night! I can honestly say, every song we had asked Brian to play in our consultation meeting was played. Everyone was dancing and laughing, including Brian! I was so happy he was able to join in the fun, and not be stuck behind the booth all night. I strongly recommend cutting edge entertainment, and especially Brian. We can not thank you enough for all of your help, and success in making our wedding truly a fun night! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
