Alyssa and Michael’s wedding reception was held on Friday November 5th at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, and they chose Cutting Edge Entertainment provide the DJ and music . We have been doing a lot of parties and events at the Loews recently, and looking at our upcoming calendar of events, it looks like we have many more in the future.
I met with Alyssa and Michael a few weeks prior to their wedding. We call this meeting the ‘wrap-up meeting”, because its where we go over all the final details with the couple regarding their wedding reception, and the role we are expected to play. We go over an entire time line with them, so they help plan the exact order of all the formalities, while we review their music selections as well. Each wedding is different and it is very important that we take the time to get to know the bride and groom, in order to best serve them. I want to learn what kind of music they like, and more importantly which kinds they don’t like. One of my goals for each wedding I do is to make sure I give the bride and groom the wedding that they have envisioned. This is a big day in both of their lives, and I make it my mission to make their wedding even better than they imagined.
The wedding was held way on the 33rd floor, where view of the city is absolutely breathtaking. The staff at the Loews does a great job, and they were – as always – so easy to work with. The service that they provided to the couple and their guests was great. The bride and groom hired wedding planners Anna and Jen from Something New Weddings and Events. They did everything from helping me line up the parents, bridal party, and bride and groom for the introductions, to dazzling up the room with center pieces for the tables and other decor details. With everyone working so well together as a team, the wedding went flawlessly. Once dinner was over the crowd danced the night away.
I need to send a big Thank You to the bride and groom. Alyssa looked exquisite as did their flower girl and daughter Natasha. Michael is a very lucky man to have two beautiful ladies in his life. I also would like to to send a big thanks to Inna Photography. Inna’s pictures came out great and I am very grateful that she allowed me to feature them on our blog.
