Valerie and David’s Cairnwood Wedding
I began my June of 2012 as the Wedding DJ for the wedding of Valerie and David, held at one of my favorite venues – Cairnwood Mansion. Just as the Philadelphia Phillies call Citizen’s Bank Park their home field, I could almost refer to Cairnwood as my home field, where I get the opportunity to work with many great caterers, in this case it was Karen’s Caterers. Over the past few years Cutting Edge Entertainment has developed a great partnership with Karen and her hard-working staff. This was my first time working with the photographers from Gooch Photography, and as you can see by the images they provided for us in this blog, you can tell they do an amazing job capturing the reception. I also worked with Your Cinematic Wedding Studio we did a superb job getting the whole night in video. They were also kind enough to let us feature their wedding recap on this post.

Meeting with Valerie and her parents before the wedding, I knew that having a lot of time for dancing was important. I worked closely with the staff to ensure dinner went quickly (but not too quickly), so we had as much time as possible for partying. I am glad I got to be a part of this wedding celebration, because it is fun to be a DJ when you have a crowd who loves the bride and groom so much that they have no problem partying all night. A big hit with the crowd was when we played some of the traditional Italian dances such as the Tarantella and Ce La Luna.
A couple of weeks after the wedding was over the mother of the bride Teresa was nice enough to go on the Wedding Channel and write the following testimonial:
