Haiden’s Philadelphia All-Star Bar Mitzvah
Trust The Process. While that saying can be applied to the Philadelphia 76ers, it can also be said for hiring the right entertainment company for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. When Haiden and his family sat down to discuss his party, they put the event into our hands, and let us at Cutting Edge do what we do best…rock the party.
Haiden’s mitzvah at the Chubb Conference Center was Philadelphia sports themed, and we did it in championship style. With Philadelphia Sixers, Eagles, Flyers and Union gear everywhere, along with a Wells Fargo Center cake and life-sized sports posters of Haiden, you could feel the fandom all over the room. The DJs and dancers were in Eagles & Phillies gear, and introductions and candle lighting were complete with custom handshakes between Haiden and each of his guests. I even rocked my Moses Malone Sixers jersey, per Haiden’s request. To top it all off, his parents surprised him with a guest appearance from the Sixers Dunkin Donuts Dunk Squad! The guys came out and did a performance full of flips & tricks, all to the delight of the crowd. To finish off their show, the Dunk Squad did backflips over the mitzvah boy himself, and the audience went crazy!
After dinner, and a Philadelphia sports themed game of Coke & Pepsi (which our Sixers Dunk Squad friends stayed and played, much to the kids’ delight) it was time to open the dance floor. DJ Richie lit up the dance floor with some of the best party songs including Bruno Mars, the Jackson 5, AC/DC and more. The Sixers themed event wouldn’t have been complete without some Meek Mill, and Rocky’s “Eye of the Tiger.”
The party goers danced the night away on the dance floor, as the lights provided an atmosphere similar to the arenas the biggest stars play in every night. Haiden and all of his friends danced the night away, rocked some incredible air guitars, and even challenged the adults in a kids versus adults dance contest. Like any great party, the evening would not have been complete until everyone had lost their voices from screaming song lyrics at the top of their lungs. At the end of the mitzvah, Haiden and his family were so tired out, Haiden was ready to head to bed. The energy the entire evening was crazy, and I am sure that every employee at the Chubb Center, in Philadelphia, could hear the dance floor shaking from the party.
A big thank you to Haiden and his entire family for having the Cutting Edge Entertainment team out to rock your Philly sports mitzvah. Thank you to the entire staff at the Chubb Center for working alongside us all night to create an all-star event, to the Sixers Dunk Squad for the high-flying performance, and Lafayette Hill Studios for the incredible photos. If you want an event fit for a champion, call Cutting Edge Entertainment and just trust the process…
