Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah at Maggianos

After writing many wedding blog posts, I am excited to finally write another Bar Mitzvah blog post. This Bar Mitzvah reception – for which I acted as MC/DJ – was held on on Saturday November 9th. The Cutting Edge staff and I were at Maggianos in Cherry Hill, NJ, ready to rock out Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah. After meeting with Jacob and his parents a few weeks before the Bar Mitzvah, I was confident this was going to be a fun party. We had a great pre-party meeting as we went over the games, the dance music, and overall just getting excited for the big day.

All of our Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah packages include at least two Dancer/Party Motivators. Our goal is to keep all the kids engaged right from the start of cocktail hour straight through until the end of the party. We make sure that all the kids are involved in the party either dancing or playing games on the dance floor. With about forty kids at Jacob’s party, three Dancers that helped me out tremendously at keeping things animated, and pulling off some really cool games.

A Bar Mitzvah can not be legendary without a totally awesome Bar Mitzvah boy, and Jacob was all that and more! His smile was infectious and quickly spread to all his friends and family. We not only had the kids dancing, but Jacob’s mom, dad, and even little brother Ethan got out there and busted out some dance moves. I had an amazing time working with the entire Natkin family. Mazel Tov!!
